Having had 3 children, Shona is an inspiration to anyone who is looking for help in getting fit and finding what works for you.
Shona has been my personal trainer for a year and a half now, following the birth of my second child. The results I have achieved to date are largely due to her perfect combination of diverse training methods, individualised exercise programs and challenging yet achievable goal setting.
Personal training twice a week made a huge difference to my health and well-being. The knowledge and nutritional tips I’ve gained are invaluable. Most importantly, I’m always motivated because the workouts are always changing and customised to my specific needs.
Having specialist knowledge of not just prenatal but postnatal exercise has been so beneficial to me as I’ve had two pregnancies close together. Prior to working with Shona my strength training mainly involved going to body pump classes and watching YouTube videos. My form was not great and you don’t get the 1-1 attention in a class. Shona has worked on all this, correcting it and I feel much stronger and more confident using weights. I’d really recommend Shona to all pre and postnatal mums. The sessions are fun, tailored to your needs and adapted through pregnancy. First pregnancy I have incorporated proper strength training and excited to keep up until delivery and will definitely return to Shona postpartum.
