Hello and welcome!  I’m Shona Nicolson, founder of Zest Fitness. I’m a registered Personal Trainer and Nutritional Advisor, specialising in Pre & Postnatal programmes, Kettlebells and Circuit Training. I provide a full Personal Training service from initial client consultation to nutritional consultancy, food diary analysis, SMART goal setting, fitness testing, programme design, 60-minute training session delivery and progress reviews.

I’m based in the beautiful Stirlingshire village of Killearn, delivering personal training sessions to clients in the area in the comfort of their own home, the Great Outdoors, or my own fully-equipped fitness studio.

2020 saw the launch of my exciting Strong Nation group classes at the studio, with my latest offering Circl Mobility coming soon.

I strongly believe that fitness and a healthy lifestyle should be available to all, with no need to find time to travel to the gym or buy fancy equipment! Whatever your health and fitness goal, I can help and support you to achieve it!

LOVE FOR SHONA

I cannot recommend Shona enough- she is THE best personal trainer. If you are thinking about feeling fitter and healthier then do it do it!! Having struggled for 18months with long covid I was very nervous about undertaking any exercise and the impact it would have. Shona developed a fitness and nutrition programme for me which has been amazing! Starting and progressing slowly I am now stronger and fitter than I have been in long time! I have shaved time off my 1.5 mile run test, have made measurable improvements physically and can now run 5k again but far more importantly I have more energy and and feel back to being me! Cannot thank Shona and her continual support enough.

Finding Shona at Zest Fitness has been so important for me. Since having my kids, I’ve struggled to find the right fitness programme that really made the differences I was looking for and I could sustain. Shona has helped in all aspects of my fitness journey not least because she listens to what I want to achieve, what I can commit to and then provides an evolving programme to suit me. Shona also gave me some very useful feedback on what I was eating and suggestions on what to eat including some great recipes.

 

I get a new programme every 4 weeks which Shona explains so well and with lots of encouragement – but all the encouragement I need is seeing the results. I’ve been training with Shona for about 4 months – I’m consistently losing weight at a steady pace, my fitness is improving, I’m toning up, I feel healthier and have more energy AND I know how to have the odd treat.

 

Shona is always available to ask questions and keeps me motivated with her encouragement and support – she is simply a wonderful trainer and very easy to talk things through with and I’m looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with her – thank you so much Shona xx

I can’t thank Shona enough for helping me start this journey. I had a back operation, diastasis recti and generally felt unfit and unsure how to help my body build strength in the right way, without causing further damage.
